This professional learning package is designed to be tailored to the schedules and needs of individual schools and districts. We partner with you to customize a professional learning schedule that meets your needs and builds consistency across classrooms. Training is available virtually through synchronous sessions or in person. All professional learning is delivered in Spanish by expert Master Teachers with extensive experience teaching beginning reading.

This course consists of 13.5 hours of professional learning delivered across six live sessions and is organized into two parts. It provides districts and schools with the knowledge and instructional practices educators need to successfully implement Aprendo Leyendo.

Part 1: Foundations of Aprendo Leyendo (9 Hours)

Participants learn how to:

• Implement Aprendo Leyendo with fidelity
• Deliver multisensory instruction for reading, spelling, and handwriting
• Build cross-linguistic connections between Spanish and English
• Plan and deliver Aprendo Leyendo lessons
• Develop students’ accuracy, fluency, and reading comprehension
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of  diverse learners
• Administer Aprendo Leyendo’s curriculum-based assessments and analyze assessment data to inform instruction

Part 2: Guided Implementation (4.5 Hours)

Participants continue their learning through collaborative sessions focused on classroom implementation, including:

• Instructional feedback
• Collaborative lesson planning
• Student placement and instructional grouping using assessment data
• Differentiated instruction
• Pacing guidance based on the school’s implementation model
• Assessment interpretation and instructional planning

*Pricing includes up to 25 participants, with additional attendees welcome at $375 each. Prices will be automatically calculated at checkout. The Aprendo Leyendo Teacher Handbook and access to the Teacher Resource Center are required but not included in the price.
